Is it videos or reading?
It is written, and that is deliberate. You can read a section in ten minutes on your phone, on the bus or between meetings, and come back to exactly where you left off — no headphones or quiet room required.
How long does it take?
The full course is over 12 hours of training, split into bite-sized written sections. At one hour a week, you could complete it in about 12 weeks, but there is no deadline. You keep lifetime access, so you can go slowly, pause and revisit modules whenever your plans or funding needs change.
Can more than one person in our organisation use it?
Yes. One purchase covers your whole organisation. Trustees, staff and volunteers can all work through it, so the learning stays with the organisation even when people move on.
How does the payment plan work?
You can pay £499 in full or spread it across three monthly payments of £166.33. With the payment plan, all six bonuses are unlocked as soon as your first payment goes through, and the ten core modules open in order as you complete them. If you ever need a break for financial reasons, your account, progress and free content are kept safe — paid access resumes when your payments restart. The plan spreads the full cost, so all three payments remain due even if you pause.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Create a free account and Module 1 is open to everyone, along with the Funding Made Simple bonus — including an AI prompt for researching which funds you are eligible for, a 12-point funding readiness checklist, a glossary of funding language, a reusable organisation paragraph and a downloadable funder tracker you keep either way.
What if it is not right for us?
Both payment options come with a 3-day money-back guarantee — 3 days from your purchase, or from your first payment on the payment plan. This applies as long as you have not completed more than two modules. Details are on the Refund Policy page.
Can I jump around the modules?
If you pay in full, yes — every module and bonus is open from the moment you buy, so you can start wherever you like. On the payment plan the ten core modules open in order: each lesson unlocks once you have completed and marked the one before it, and Module 5 and Module 9 open part by part. All six bonus resources are open straight away, so there is always something to work on between payments.
Do I need any special tools or software?
No. Everything runs in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. The bonus modules mention free tools such as Canva and CapCut, and explain how community organisations can apply for Canva Pro at no cost.
Will this help with funding bids?
Yes — Module 9 is three parts. It covers where UK funding actually is (including each National Lottery Community Fund programme explained properly), how to research funders with AI, how to understand and cost your project, how to write the bid itself, and how to build a reusable bank of information so future bids take days rather than weeks. It also includes a downloadable finance and funding planner with quarterly budget, cash flow and funding pipeline sheets.
Can I save and print my worksheets?
Yes. Your answers are saved automatically to your account. Each worksheet can be downloaded as a PDF or printed, so you can keep a physical copy or share it with your team. Your downloads page gathers every worksheet and template in one place, including the content planner, the finance and funding planner, the funder tracker and the printable consent form.
How do I get my certificate?
Once every core lesson is marked complete, a 'Get your certificate' button appears on your dashboard. Enter the name you would like on it, then download or print.
I need help — how do I contact you?
Use the contact form on the Help page and Bev will get back to you personally.
